Cousins

Last week Lisa and Noah came to visit us and meet Kendall and we had such a blast having them here.  I loved that we are both in crazy mommy mode so we could just laugh when things get wild.

Nana and Papa's visit

After DeeDee left we just had a couple of days to manage on our own before Nana came to our rescue and once again we were spoiled with love, a really fun playmate, extra hands for helping, and some good cooking.  We had a ball having her here and loved that Papa was able to get away to come see us too.

More DeeDee and Billy love

We have been basking in the love of grandparents for the past three weeks and I'm in denial that they are all about to go home.  DeeDee was here for all of the action when Kendall was born and Billy came to town once things settled down a little bit the following weekend.  I thought I'd do a little recap of what went on while they were here: 

Langley Grace got her first pedicure by DeeDee

 Kendall had her first sponge bath.  Not too sure about it. 

Luke had his first soccer game (he's number 5!)

 Langley Grace was cold but a great cheerleader

 Billy met Kendall

 We all bounced (and wrestled) in the bounce house

 Kendall Joy grew

 Luke gave Wii lessons

 Langley Grace gave Kendall a peace offering of her most favorite things.  :)

And we loved DeeDee and Billy right back.

Nana and Papa's visit coming up next...

Kendall Joy Merrick

We are so excited to announce that Kendall Joy is here.  After getting word that she was going to be evicted on Wednesday she decided to enter the world on her own at 3:25 Wednesday morning.  She weighed in at a healthy 7lbs 11oz and 20 3/4 in.  We couldn't be more in love and are all enjoying this sweet time getting to know her.

We had a great day celebrating that Jesus is risen and alive.  Hope you all did too!
